The 20th Annual Paul Zia Distinguished Lecture, “Design & Construction of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge,” will be presented this year, on September 27, 2021. The lecture is made possible by our many sponsors, which will be updated soon for the 2021 lecture.

This annual lecture honors Professor Emeritus Dr. Paul Zia, former professor and department head of NC State’s Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, and a structural engineer who is eminent in research, professional society leadership and practice.

This year’s presenters will be Dr. Marwan Nader, PE, from T.Y. Lin International and Guy Mailhot, P.Eng., M.Eng., FCSCE, FEIC from Infrastructure Canada.
